We offer a variety of English language courses for adults for personal and professional growth and can create custom courses to meet your specific needs.
Before booking a class, we offer a free language assessment so we can determine the right class for you. You may also attend a free 30-minute introductory class before booking.
We offer private, semi-private and group lessons held at our Langenthal facility, at your place of work, or online via Zoom. We arrange group classes for students with similar levels and goals, as needed.
Lessons are 60, 90 or 120 minutes and meet between one and three times per week.
Classes are held weekly and arranged by quarter, however students can join any time. Our quarterly schedule is:

English for specific purposes (ESP) classes are for those who need specialized classes for medical English, English for law, aviation English, etc. or any other specific purpose or industry. The courses may be attended in groups as well as in private lessons.

As an official partner of Swiss Exams, The English Center can prepare you for the exam of your choice. Official Cambridge practice materials and sample exams are the basis for the classes. The courses may be attended in groups as well as in private lessons.
